Where will the Anime go this season?

Where do you think the Anime will go this upcoming season? (It premiers in February, right?) The last two seasons (I thought it was 3 seasons, but nope, confirmed on IMDB as only two) they were travelling all over Kalos, but since the last season ended in Anistar City the only places left are Couriway City, Snowbelle City and the Pokemon League. Could they expland that to another full season? Will they Travel to Hoenn? Or will they finally meet Team Flare (which they inexplicably never came across once in the whole two seasons they were in Kalos, just the Audience did in the form of the Mega Evolution Specials) or what do you think?

Team Flare will be a major player in the next season. They can always create more towns and go back to other towns, especially with everything eventually connecting back to Lumiose City.

The anime with Ash and the Mega Specials are becoming a whole. Ash will eventually face off against Alaine.

The Plasma arc in BW anime was spread out through about 56 episodes and they only went to 2 or 3 different towns. So it isn't too hard to think they will do the same. I think they will also pull a SInnoh, and have Ash be defeated by the 8th Gym leader and come back at a later time. Similar to how long it was for Ash to get his 8th badge in Sinnoh.

There will also probably be another filler arc similar to what they did in BW, with Team Rocket playing a major villain and someone coming back to spend time with the group.

Ash didn't lose against Volkner, actually. Nor did he win, either. The match was interrupted by Team Rocket, and the resulting fight with Team Rocket damaged the power generators, so they had to call off the match until another time.

That said, I won't be surprised if Ash encounters the Gym Leader soon.

I haven't watched the series in a long while. So do you think the newer ones are as enjoyable?

That's where Volkner is referenced, as he's the eighth gym leader.

I'm watching each episode. Start with XY. It does get somewhat boring in the middle so you'd be better off skipping a certain bunch of episodes. We then get to The Series XYZ and it looks like they're doing slightly more interesting stories.

If you've watched the series for a while, you'd probably find more recent episodes less enjoyable.

No need to tell me that, the show got stale around the time of AG.

Well , The Anime should go on a new direction even if Ash remained the prtoagonist.
Suppose , In the Next series Ash goes to new region to find his Grandfather who seem to be involve with the new villainous team.
While New girl is targeted by the evil Team for having a special ability So she travel with Ash as they tries to reach the main legendary pokemon.
Basically She will be a pokemon version of Ai Haribara (Detective Conan)
No Gym or No League After Ash win his first league conference , It will be all out fight against evil.
After all , We have seen enough "Gym Quest" ! They are no longer interesting after Ash won 47 gym-badge.
