    So in BW2 we had the neo team plasma, with a great leader of Colress and the return of Ghestis and N. So since team skull were the villains of this story with Aether coming in later disappointed in Aether by the way. So here's some questions,

    Who will the new Evil Team be if not Skull?
    If it is Skull, how will they be different?
    If it isn't Skull, what part will they play if no part at all.

    I don't think Aether will be the villains since Gladion's the head, so just some things to consider. After all, who doesn't like if not love Guzma.
     
    I always thought Plumeria made a better boss for Team Skull than Guzma anyway...she'd be the logical successor, I would have thought. Or maybe even Gladion, even though he was never officially part of the team.

    That said, if these ARE sequels - which seems unlikely - I'd like to see Guzma as the driving force behind the introduction of Gyms to Alola. Or, at the very least, be one of the Gym Leaders. Given his past, and general disdain for Alola's traditions, it would make sense for him to be part of establishing a proper Pokemon League. It'd be hilarious if he was the Champion.
     
    I actually don't know where Guzma will be in USM. Team Skull were kinda left up in the air at the end of SM which makes me think they will have disbanded by this time. Maybe that means either we'll get a completely new team, or members of Team Skull and the Aether Foundation will join forces to make a new team with Guzma in charge? That's all assuming these games are sequels. Idk, but I really hope he has some sort of prominent role in USM, Guzma is such a great character lmao.
     
    Okay let me clarify that I'm wasn't assuming this is a sequel. I used BW2 as a sequel example and yes I should've included something else for that.
    I apologize for the poor wording and I'll add some additional questions to broaden the spectrum.

    With that said, here are the questions again, with 3 new ones.

    Who will the new Evil Team be if not Skull? (Sequel)
    If it is Skull, how will they be different? (Either)
    If it isn't Skull, what part will Team Skull play if no part at all. (Sequel)
    If it's a new team, what could they be after? (Sequel)
    Will Team Skull have new team members if it is an alternate story? (Alternate)
    Will anything change in their goals if they stay like they were in SM? (Alternate)
     
    I don't think that Skulls will return. The evil team may be brand new!
