Which cable would I use if I was trading while playing crystal on my GBA-SP? Because I use an SP to play all my games and so do my friends. (would I use a GBA cable or a game boy color cable, or would it be impossible)

You should use the cable for the Game Boy Color. It fits into the GBA SP's wire port and will most definetely work even if you're connecting a GBC game to it, since it's GBC-compatible. :D

wrong, the Gbc cable requires mor voltage and the Gba's expantion port cant handle it so use a gba cable, dont worry the systems will emulate a gbc cable
the gamepaks wont know the difference.

...No? I'm not wrong, I've done in before, and, in fact, I just tested it now to be absolutely sure. It works just fine without any problems and the GBA can handle. it. :\

*shrug* I have no idea who's right, but I own a GBA cable and not a GBC cable, so I hope the GBA one works. (come on, batteries, charrrrrrrge)
