I don't recall saying it was the "best" of the eeveelutions, as I find Vaporeon the most useful. Umbreon, however, is my favorite of the Eeveelutions.

But what would Fire moves do for it? I disagree with is need for it.
 
Well, I took a very close look at its stats, and it is the best, but Vaporeon can be useful. And for the fire type moves, that's a different conversation. I'll pick it up with you VIA IM sometime.

Well lots of pokemon have great stats, and are used accordingly. Salamence, for example, is a great physical sweeper with one of the games highest Atk and good speed. Blissey is a great Special wall for high Sp.Def and even higher HP. So you can't really say its the best. All you can contribute is preference.
 
I will make my Eevee a Umbreon.

Darkness is so0o0o powerfull =3
Just because the looks, they look so... powerfull XD

Trade either Toxic or Snatch for Mean Look, and you=winnar
 
Well i chose Espeon for several resons
*Probly the Best Psychic Type you can get Early in the game also one of my favorite psychic type pokemon
*An odd reson of where My Starter Pokemon always needs to be a DD for some reson lol if i would get an eevee later in any game (like G/S or LR/LG) i would probly go for Umbreon

Besides that i probly would have chose Jolteon Because he seems to be the only electric type that i like in the game so far...i like Amparos But it just to slow lol
 
I do love Vaporeon but the best choice for me was Umbreon and the second time I played it I picked Espeon.

I picked Esperon the first time through.

Once I get my mitts on a GBA/GC link cable I'll trade my Pokemon over to one of my handheld games and then probally start XD over again.

I think for my second time through I'll pick Jolteon, who's only fault appears to be the fact that it learns thunder wave at such a late level.

I like Ampharos but its just too slow for an electric type. :\

Don't really need Flareon because Houndoom takes it's place and pretty much the same reason for Umbreon.
 
Ampharos gets cool moves for an electric type though, and is the only Electric type that can actually use Counter effectively. The defenses more than make up for the lack of Speed IMO. I also thought the addition of Heal Bell for Amphy was kinda cool too.
 
Before being thoroughly intrigued by Espeon...definitely Vaporeon. <3 I love its elegance and water moves, even if it isn't the strongest. ^_^
 
Jolteon is the best choice. Attack on the the others...
Flareon- Good effect
Vaporeon-High effect
Espeon-Good effect
Umbreon-Good effect

That's not a valid comparison between the eeveelutions to say which is best IMO.
