Which Ev's?

    I just started to try to get into Ev training and I think I have the gist of it. You attack certain pokemon to get a certain ev. But how do you know what Ev you want to raise? That probably sounded stupid but I mean lets just say I have a newly hatched lvl. 1 charmander that is a brave nature. How would I know what I should train it in? Or is it the trainers preference?
     
    OR, in the same website go to D/P Pokedex and at the bottom shows you afew buttons "HP" "ATK" "S.ATK" "DEF" "S.DEF" and "SPD"
    giving you the choice of which EV you wanna research.
     
    Thanks for that but are there any specific things I should be training my charmander for? Like are theyre certain pokemon i should raise their atk, or hp, or def?
     
    Ok, the answer is quite simple. On serebii-yes, we all know aboit it-go on charmander's pokedex. Scroll all the way down to see his base stats. You see his sp.atk & speed is highest. So you would want to EV train him in that. You gotta see what they do best.
