Sorry, but my heart will always be with the first generation. xD I grew up on the first generation. The first game I played was Red Version. I fell in love with it. And, even though I knew they were all basically the same except for a few Pokemon here and there- because of Red, I went out and got Blue. Then, I was first in line when Yellow came along. (Oh, how much I loved having Pikachu follow me around!) I was thrilled to play Gold, Silver and Crystal, too. But, to me, it was a bit too much. Too many Pokemon (come on! It was hard enough trying to catch 150!!). I liked the night/day concept. But, I honestly (don't hit me!) didn't like the story line. It kind of bored me. I liked the 1 gen. story line of how your rival was your next door neighbor. Seemed more realistic to me. It was simple, yeah. But, I liked that. [=
As far as the third generation goes; that's about the time I stopped playing. I got Sapphire and Ruby. I beat them once. And, then, shortly after- I just stopped playing. I'm sad to report... I've never even played Leaf Green or Fire Red. Sapphire and Ruby were okay but... they just weren't the same.
