It all depends on what you want to have in your Pokedex. Some games have some pokemon, others have others... Correct me if I am wrong, but there is no real difference other than that.

Yes, what Vaporean said is correct.

Fire Red and Leaf Green each have a set of version exclusives that cannot be found on the other game.

As for which one is better, it just depends upon which set of exclusives you like better. I myself like Fire Red better.

there was something on serebii that showed which execlusive Pokemon are better and they said overall Leafgreen was better

you cant go wrong either way , they are both very good remakes...either way you should get hours of playtime...
