Give me Green Berets, Delta Force, Army Rangers, Navy SEALs, Marine Force Recon, SAS, GSG-9, GIGN, or Spetsnaz any day of the week. Who needs a sword when you have firearms?
 
I never really considered Pirates warriors, but I'd have to pick them as my favorite on this list. Nothing is more hardcore than hooks for hands, peg legs, eye patches, pet parrots, and plundering treasure. XD
