My favorite is probably the original series as well. It was, in my opinion, more creative than the other ones. I also thought/think it's the funniest out of all of them. Yeah, all Pokemon seasons have really cheesy and "ugh-eye-roll" parts, but you always got a laugh out of the ones in the first series.
 
I like the original best, the new ones are too corny for me.
P.S. IMO Pokemon USA sucks at dubbing, Dawns mom sounds like a man.
