Which of the Sinnoh starters do you see evolving?

It's much of a tradition in each season that the starters for that region evolve in the anime. Charmander evolved into Charizard, Chikorita evolved into Bayleef, and all the Hoenn starters evolved (though Brock's -soIherduliek- Mudkip didn't evolve fully).

Then we had May's Bulbasaur becoming Venusaur and Squirtle becoming Wartortle.

So, with all three of the starters in the hands of the party now, which do you think will evolve?

Piplup might for the same reason May's Torchic did; just because it can.
Turtwig might evolve so we can see a sweet battle in the Sinnoh League where Ash and Paul combat their Torterra (I'd love to see that! :3)
And Chimchar might evolve to grow enough fingers to flip Paul off for ditching him. :P

My money's on Chimchar, just because of the probability. I just hope it gets past Monferno and becomes Infernape; Monferno's "hair" is fugly. :S

I'd like to see Turtwig evolve, but just because of the fact that Chimchar's backstory eclipsing Turtwig's, and the presence of a Torterra already, I don't see it happening.

And Piplup will HOPEFULLY evolve, JUST BECAUSE. I hate that thing...it's almost as annoying as Dawn is. I seriously can't stand either of them. I wish Dawn and Piplup would fall off a cliff and drop off the face of the earth. Her and her skanky miniskirt. >.>

Ash's Chimchar will probably evolve and end up facing Paul's Torterra and pwning it thus proving to Paul that he wasn't right to treat Chimchar like he did.

My money is also on Chimchar evolving. However, I could see it remaining as it is and simply becoming way more powerful than it ever was when Paul trained it. You know...Ash being able to bring out all the power that Paul was abusing him for (and doing it using his own method of training)

I think it would be good; it would be cool as well to keep Monferno for longer than Ash had Chameleon; I see Infernape as unlikely but who knows.

Piplup will stay as Piplup as that guy who works for the show said in the interview, It will probably evolve when Dawn leaves the group.

Turtwig probably wont evolve as its powerful enough the way it is.

regardless, I just hope that if Chimchar evolves, it evolves again eventually. You have no idea how infuriated I was that Ash's Bayleef didn't become Ownganium. (And Casey's DID; ARRGH! >:[)

Regardless, I'd like to see Ash get a Torterra. (Odd that in terms of pure typing, Turtwig > Torterra XD)

I would say Chimchar or Turtwig will evolve because Ash tends to have 2-4 Pokemon evolve throughout his journey and it wont be Pikachu or Glisgor, Buizel is unlikely, So that leaves Turtwig, Staravia and Chimchar.

If Chimchar eventually reaches the evo of Infernape then it would be fully evo'd. You said leave it at Infernape.

To answer the question, hopefully all of them, How can his pokes be in the level 60s and still not evolve? Its bs and one of the main things that pisses me off about the anime.

Well... if you look at it in a pattern aspect, Ash's grass types have an order to evolution. Bulbasaur didn't evolve, Chikorita evolved once, and Treeko evolved twice. So... if you follow the pattern, Turtwig won't evolve. At least... that's how I see it.

I think Chimchar is going all the way to Infernape since Ash has a Charizard. Just as long as the whole "evolved to fight a strong POKeMON and now won't listen until two seasons later" thing doesn't happen again.

Piplup.. I dunno. I'd like to see it evolve twice. I don't really like Prinplup a whole lot.

I want and expect Chimchar to evolve to eventually tear Pauls team apart in the future and will demonstrate the Blaze Power again in a battle against him

Here's what I think might happen.

Kenny has a Prinplup, which could evolve into Empoleon, which means at the Grand Festival, Piplup could be facing an Empoleon. Piplup VS Empoleon! (And I really don't want Piplup to evolve)

I can kinda see Turtwig evolving, but maybe, maybe not. Maybe just into Grotle. Or maybe it'll stay. From what I can see, Paul's Torterra VS Ash's Torterra? I don't feel like seeing that, because Paul and Ash already both have a Gliscor.

Ash's Chimchar: Maybe Monferno, or maybe Infernape. But I don't mind about Chimchar! Show Paul who's boss, whether its by evolving or not!
