4th Gen Which pokemon should you start with?

Well Turtwig.Piplup and Chimchar is good
But.. Grass Vs Water.. Grass Wins
Water Vs Fire.. Water Wins
Fire Vs Grass Fire Wins
Haha! So you cannot really choose between them >3.. But for me
They are all good ^_^

I chose chimchar in Pearl.

But I'm gonna choose Turtwig in platinum.
 
I would start with Tortwig prolly, that or Chimpchar.
 
I have already chosen Chimchar. In Pearl I chose Piplup, so I wanted something different.
 
I chosen Piplup in Platinum today and now its a LV.20 Prinplup, do you think i made the right pokemon?

It's your choice, there is never a right or wrong choice on what you start with.

I started with Chimchar because last time I chose Piplup.
 
I go with Turtwig every time.
...although, I transferred the other starters to both Pearl and Platinum(Eggs come in handy sometimes :P)....so I guess I should say...all three >.>
 
In platinum i tend to start with Piplup, mainly beacuse there arent many great water pokemon, and there are better fire pokemon with the new sinnoh dex (Houndoom, flareon, rapidash etc) and grass you've got the choice of Leafeon & roserade.

every team needs a mamoswine though ;)
 
I usually go for the Fire pokemon every generation.I still like all of the starters tho :P But this was the first time I choose a grass! I really like Turwig:)
 
If I want an easy game, I choose Piplup. In Platinum, I wanted a challenge, so I chose Chimchar. Plus, he is the only Fire/Fighting type. Grass/Ground is too common.
 
I personally went with Piplup. Then again, I stopped using it as my main as soon as it was possible for me to catch a zubat :D
 
Well i picked Chimchar in Diamond and Piplup in Pearl, so for Platinum the only choice was Turtwig, and for now I'm keeping it in my team, but I'm not sure if it'll still be there by the time i reach the E4.
 
I chose Turtwig in Pearl, Piplup in Diamond and Chimchar in Platinum. I'm a huge fan of fire types and I usually pick the fire starter in every game but I wanted to do something different in the 4th Generation games.
