Hi, so i'm looking to edit my own emerald rom a bit just the trainer sprites of may and backsprites too and maybe even overworld sprites. i tried unlz GBA but its too complicating for me with all the hex codes and the copy pasting its just a huge mess.
i also tried nameless sprite editor but nse appearently only supports ruby and fire red english for some reason it doesnt support emerald it needs a plugin which i dont know where to find or how to install.
in short i need some serious help out here. any other sprite editor ideas? or anything at all that can help me with a nse plugin?

Use Unlz gba to get the offset and pallette offsets of a particular trainer sprite (trainers are around in the 1900s I think). Then use those those offsets to edit the trainers in nse. That's what I do.
    For backsprites use this tutorial.

I tried to follow that tutorial but the photoshopping part LOST me completely!
she uses a different photoshop than I do, it's a different version, i couldnt find the pencil option i have a brush option, the hex codes for different colours do not show up on my photoshop at all, i followed most of the instructions but it just lost me completely!
isnt there an easier way to do this?
