    Hey guys,

I ordered a set of 100 random cards + a booster from eBay, and they arrived today. Yes, they're all legit, before you ask :P

I've figured out what all the sets are, except for one which cropped up on quite a few of the cards. It's a pokeball with a 9 next to it. Which set is this?

    Cheers,

    Ah righto, cheers :D

I'm pretty happy with this lot, finally got a Nuzleaf. Too bad now I have one the Shiftry Ex I've had for ages is out of use :(

Are the POP cards worth much? I'd quite like complete sets of what I already have, but I'm not forking out a ton either

Ok, thanks anyway. EDIT: After a bit of scouring I finally found them, $10 on eBay for the full set, mint. Not much at all then :D

While I've got you, I've been able to find cardlists online, but never in an easy to print or checklist format. Do you know if these are available?

Well I think I'll make a spreadsheet over the next few months. I just need to know at which point reverse foils started, and which are the sets that do not have reverse holos?

Anything else? I've found setlists, but my spreadsheet will be a collectors spreadsheet, I'll try to include all the box toppers, secret cards, and reverse foils etc in the listing

    I was thinking of having:

    Set name and symbol
Number of cards in set incl reverse foils/secret cards (ie if a set has 120 cards, and all have a reverse version, with no other cards, it will list as 120 (240))
    Card number
    Card name
    Rarity
    Columns for reverse/normal

I'm going to attempt to list all the English sets, plus as many promo sets as I can.

Are there any other things it might be good to include? I'll upload here for people to tinker with when I am done, but may as well get it mostly finished initially

Those sound like good columns. Maybe add copyright year?

Reverse foils: started in Legendary Collection and have been in every set since, save for special promo sets like the POP series, which have their own weird foil and non foil variations amongst select cards. Special foils typically do not have reverse foils, either.

Bulbapedia's got a comprehensive knowledge of the quirks of each set, and that's where I get most of my information from. It'll probably help you by looking at their TCG articles when gathering information for the spreadsheet.

I myself actually use a Microsoft Access database, though it is nowhere near a complete listing of my cards.

Well I thought I'd use Excel, with a tab for each set. Copyright year might be difficult, because I don't think I'd have even half the sets that are out. I'll see what I can do, just gotta get around to actually installing MS Office.

I'll try to have it up in two weeks :D

    BUMP! :D

I've made a start, the base set list is done. I might upload just it (or plus whatever I get done) on Sunday when I put those pics up.

I hope it does come in handy for people, maybe I'm just an organisation freak (well, scrap the maybe :P)
