4th Gen Which should I get?

Me and my friend are going down to Walmart and while she's getting her things, I'm gonna vanish and go get HG or SS... However, I don't know which to get :( All of my friends have HG, but I want HG since Mantyke is available on it... But I love Lugia <3

You get lugia at a higher level in heart gold :D. But if you get soul silver, you get lugia sooner, and if your friends have heart gold and you get soul silver, then you can trade the exclusives with eachother. I'd get soul silver if I were you

Which is a bad thing, since at that point it has already forgotten Aeroblast, which is his signature move and IMO better than Ho-oh's.

Really? That sucks. Does that mean in SS Ho-oh doesn't know Sacred Fire either?

True, but they can always relearn them via a Heart Scale and the move relearner.
