dude it not sumethin to do with jirachi, u get jirachi with preorder of pokemon collseum ok jirachi is not involved with the white rock .

whenever you go into the building talk to the scientist facing the window he will say "launch number x was a success!" or something like that the number changes each week when it gets to launch number 83 i think it fails and everyone goes to the white rock outside to pray for the crews safety. I dont know the rest...

The developers probably put it into the game in order to make people like us spend hours thinking of how to get a legendary pokemon from it. lol

I think this is just a rumor but people say that when you have colected all of the trainer stars and you go down to the space station it says that an expererment has gone wrong and then you can catch jerici.
you get the trainer stars by;

defeating 100 trainers in the battle tower lv100
defeating 100 trainers in the battle tower lv50
winning all contest at master rank
catching all 200 pokemon

it has to be a rumor. if you can "unlock the secret of jirachi" from the disc, why would they put him in the wild? if they did the disc would have neraly no purpose at all. (i already got the disc and jirachi is awesome!!!)

Thats a waste of space on the game other wise could have been spent on actually doing somthing with the white rock.
on a side note dose anyone but me thinks its weird that the space center looks like it has forty some storys and only has one or two O_o;;.
