Red (why else would I have this avatar?), Green (besides being awesome, for having a balanced team), Silver (see Green), Lance (except for his stance, he just stands well as a Champion), Hibiki (If you chose to play as Kotone, this is the guy's name, easier to stick to the manga name Gold anyway though, all preference I guess).
 
D: crystal isnt in the game though, but I favor her more than Soul. Green, Lance, and Clair i like :]
 
Silver because hes the coolest rival and i love hes music
Red because hes the strongest trainer in all of kanto and johto and my favorite MC
Gold because hes my second favorite MC (Red being first)
Lance because hes a dragon type pokemon league champion
Green because hes just cool
The rocket executives because they also are just cool
 
I'm a huge fan of Karen! The first ever in-game major trainer of Dark-type Pokemon. I love her so much that my signature has one of my favorite quotes the developers put in the dialogue between her and the main character...
 
Champion: Steven Stone of course :)
Rival: Silver is one of the best rivals (but Barry is good, too)
Gym Leaders: Morty, Jasmine, Clair, Brock, Green
E4: Will, Koga
Professor: Elm (but I like Rowan the most, as he is the only professor, who wants me to just see not catch all the Pokémon)
 
I think Gold would be my favorite. He's a pretty cool character.
Green comes in second though, he's awesome

Jasmine because she was the first character to use steel (which is my favorite type).
 
Main Characters: Gold & Crys (Mostly because of the manga, but also because I love their designs.)
Rival: Silver (He is the best rival, ever. Barry, Green, and May/Brendan suck in comparison)
Gym Leaders: Morty, Jasmine, Clair, Janine, Sabrina
E4: Karen, Bruno, Koga
Champion: Steven, Lance
EPICNESS: Red <3
