Who do you guys play pokemon with?

    Hey!
    So my friends finally got pokemon SunMoon and yesterday I spent the evening playing with them in my crib and it was really fun, it was the first time we all played the same gen together and battled/traded multiple times that day so we gonna do it more often.
    We started wondering why we never did it before, we all kinda played pokemon alone as a purely single player game besides online battles, even if we were each on their own home we would never use skype/discord to chat and play together, we just played alone.
    Then we started thinking why Nintendo didn't make any main series pokemon game for a home console since we all sorta played it only in their rooms and very rarely took it somewhere to play.
    A home console version could have way better graphics and handle other kind of things like actual non 10fps triple battles.
    But since we were only 5 guys we had no idea about what others did so now I got some questions to do:

    -Do you guys usually go to your friends home and play pokemon together?
    -Do you even use the 3ds as a portable console?
    -Also do you usually skype and chat with friends while playing?
     
    I played Pokémon with my friends in primary school as a kid, but these days I don't really know too many people irl who are into it sadly :(
    I don't really take my 3DS anyplace, besides occasionally school if I have a spare class and nothing to do during that time.
     
    I play alone sadily and the twerps in here isn't much very logical. It's no point for me to bring a 3DS anymore since it broke last year
     
    I use to play Pokemon with myself or my brother, once he was a little older. Nowadays, I play mostly on my own, but battle for fun and trade with close friends of mine! C: My friends do a lot of breeding for competitive stuff, so I kind of take leftovers and they're starting to help me with battling better! \o/
    We use discord to call each other up for free for all battles, it's so much fun C:​
