Who do you think is Ash's best Rival?

Yeah i do agree ash sucks, but the only reason he lost at the pokemon league, was only because he couldn't control his Charizard, if he was able, the match would've gone in ash's favor.

Although nothing from the game applies to the anime (electric attacks beating ground types) Ash must suck really bad if he had all 8 badges and couldn't control Charizard (When you have all 8 all pokemon WILL obey you)

I liked Gary..But the Rivaverly is basically over becuase Ash has already beaten him so Gary cant act all showeyoffey anymore

Hmm... Actually Ash still views Gary as his rival, and Gary did win Ash just prior to Sinnoh if I'm not mistaken.
