4th Gen Who Else Thought The Elite 4 Was Horrible

    i mean the move sets were bad the pokemon they had were horrible they were extremly easy to beat (in my opinion)
    LET ME GET STARTED ON THE ELITE FOURS COMPLETE FLAWS THEN ON TO THE CHAMPIONS FLAWS
    the bug trainer:ARRON
    first off his drapion totally has the worst move set ever i mean if you get a steel pokemon he is finished because none of his moves can even scratch a steel type poke i mean nintendo couldnt even hook it up with fire fang and if like most steel poke have the move earthquake he is defiently a push over...then his vespiqueen is no differerent has so his dustox, and bueautifly aerial ace will totally incinerate them and his heracross is easily beaten by a garchomp with aerial ace or a pokemon with rock slide would kill vespiqueen, beautifly, and dustox may i say lack of double type diversety

    the ground trainer:BERTHA
    she is the most annoying here quagsire uses protect too much its annoying and then why does she have 2 water/ground types thats just not smart i mean nintendo could have given here a torterra i mean that would be perfect to combat against grass pokemon that could easily take her out all of her pokemon know earthquake and a fighting or rock move which makes it easy for a grass pokemon to whipe her completly out because rock and ground are not very effective against grass which makes it EASY PEASY if she would of had garchomp, and torterra to replace quag and golem she would be a beast in the elite four

    the fire trainer:FLINT
    first off what brillant mind gave him steelix wtf i thought he was fire and having steelix dosent really help unless of course youre using rock but wouldnt monferno just handle that with mach punch water poke with ice beam and surf will wipe out his whole team easy but i do have to say they were right giving monferno thunderpunch that was smartness but overall hes a total pushover as well as the other two

    the psychic trainer:LUCIAN
    none of his pokemon except for bronzzong could withstand a crunch attack by even a decent pokemon alakazam (with his focus blast high spatk and speed) may be the upperhand against dark type and also bronzong and girafarig against ghost but you dont need those pacific types seeming has crunch can be learned by many ironically a girafarig could blow him out with constant crunchs on his team (and or a torterra with crunch, or a drapion with fire fang and crunch) he is somewhat tougher but still a complete push over

    the champion:CYNTHIA

    ALL IN ALL I THOUGHT THE POKEMON LEAGUE HAD MANY A FLAWS THAT NINTENDO COULD HAVE WORKED HARDER FOR AT LEAST A FRIGGIN CHALLENGE GOD I MEAN EVEN WITH HIGH LEVELS THEIR EASILY BEATEN BECAUSE OF LACK OF DIVERSE TYPES AND MOVE SETS I MEAN COME ON IN EARLIER VERSIONS IT WAS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO BEAT THE POKEMON LEAGUE WITH THREE POKEMON AND ON OF MINE WAS COMPLETE GARBAGE SO REALLY TWO BUT ON OTHER VERSIONS I HAD TO USE AT LEAST THREE REALLY GOOD ONES I MEAN COME ON NINTENDO DO BETTER NEXT TIME WHEN YOU COME OUT WITH THE FOLLOW UP D/P GAME THAT WOULD PROBALLY USE GARATINA AS THE MASCOT BUT UM I THOUGHT THE JOHTO LEAGUE WAS THE HARDEST BECAUSE OF THE MANY NEW TYPES AND MOVES THAT ARRISED AT THE TIME BUT THATS MY OPINION

    Lay off the caps dude.
    You forget this game is designed at 3 and over. It's not supposed to take a tactical genius to beat them,
     
    Flint only has two Fire Types because there are only TWO Fully-evolved Fire Types in the Sinnoh Dex: Infernape and Rapidash.

    His Steelix has Fire Fang and is Loppunny has Fire Punch to fit with the Fire-type theme. Drifblim IIRC has Will-o-Wisp, too.
     
    I personally don't think the Elite four was horrible. :/
    I kept losing because of the type mix ups. Fire trainer has a Steel type and etc.
    And Cynthia had no base type of pokemon, so that was a nightmare to get through.
    I think this thread is very poorly thought out.

    Also, you're saying Berthas quagsire "annoys you" because he keeps using protect? lol, what else is that move for?
     
    I also forgot to mention that Arron has a non-Bug Type(Drapion) and Bertha had a non-Ground Type(Sudowoodo) to mix things up some.

    okay obviosly you guys are friggin newbs but i was 5 when i got blue version back in 1998 i still kicked with a gyrados, charizard, and a rhydon so thats no excuse of age none at all my 7 year old cousin broke his ds because he was upset how easy it was to beat the elite 4

    im just stating my opinion no facts duh i dont care to make arguments if you want to debate lets get at it but i will come out vistorious and i know i cant change it nut hopefully this forum will inspire more to make this known so nintendo can give me a challenge
     
    Please don't call these people newbs. They just try to make a point. Pokémon is a very simple game unless you play competitively (that is, the battle tower, or with other players). Otherwise, everything will be easy enough for a kid to defeat. And, yes, age has to do with abilities like this. Not entirely, but yes.

    Meeeeeee, That outburst was really out of order. Especially the noob bit, i could get started on a lot of points that show you're a noob. But i wont. Voicing your opinions is one thing, but outright insulting other members is another. Like you said, if you wanna argure, PM them.

    Topicwise, did anyone else find it strange that the final E4 member (Not including cynthia) was the only one to use a full team of the correct type? Even though there are only two fully evolved fire types, shouldnt nintendo have picked a more appropriate type?

    I agree that the Pokemon Elite Four was very easy. But Pokemon is aimed towards younger children so it shouldn't be so hard to figure out. Most In-Game trainers really have no "mind." The game is really easy, battle-wise. I mean, some of the trainers use Hyper Beam D: C'mon. That sucks XD Really, the whole in-game is far too easy. But really anything involved with battling outside of competetive play has no mind to it. There's no strategies, I wish it would be a little more challenging.

    Edit: Seeing your team in your signature, its pretty terrible. :/ So I wouldn't be flaming other members.
