    Who here is annoyed by the "spin and dodge" move they use so frequently in the anime. Dawn came up with this move for some contest I think, now Ash and Dawn uses it in almost every battle. Not only that, it seems to work in almost every battle. What's so unrealistic is how high the Pokemon could jump and dodge the moves while spinning in mid air. It annoys me so much that they use this in every battle. How come when Ash's and Dawn's Pokemon usually attack that their opponent Pokemon stands still for the attack to be hit and Ash's and Dawn's Pokemon are able to move? Usually only main character's Pokemon dodge the attack for some reason.

    OMG, I hate that SO much. It makes me mad every time they do it. Do something else for once. >___>
     
    Same way I feel, I was wondering how other feel about it.
     
    The spin move doesn't always work. Also, the opponents don't always just stand there.

    I'm going to disagree and say I like the spin move. It's original and can lead to great combinations.
     
    I thought i was the only one who noticed that! By now we should be used to anime having running gags like this. *cough cough* Team Rocket *Cough cough*
     
    Although it ia unrealistic, it does look very cool. But of course, everyone has their opinion.
     
    If it was only used a couple times, it's ok but it's over used.
     
    The battles itself don't make sense, one person could be winning for a long time, but at the end everything turns around and the person winning loses by being hit with one "creative" hit.
     
    I like the move, it makes the battles more exciting and active.

    But if they use it alot more, it may start to get on my nerves...
     
    What!? They hardly use it everywhere, it was in the May's contests, Ash gym battle and the episode Dawn came up with it. it's probably been in a few more, but not that many. I think it's great that someone, at last, has made a strategy that they keep coming back to (as well as the ice Aqua Jet). Before, they made up some random thing in one episode and never came back to it.
     
    Meh I don't think its that annoying but it is a little Frustrating.

    I did laugh when Dawn's Buneary got smashed by Maylene's Meditite when it used Drain punch And Buneary Jump/Span into it :P
     
    It just isn't realistic, and it works almost all the time (I think). A strong Pokemon attacks and the weak one dodges it all the time, just doesn't make sense.
     
    I don't really like it that much in the regular battles, but it creates some cool stuff in the contests, like Piplup using Bide on Dark Pulse. That was awesome.
     
    Yeah, but it didn't make much sense.
