I think, everybody likes her because she looks good.
She has a nice body and hair. Every 14-years old boy would love to have a girlfriend like Flannery.

I like her because I have seen episodes with her and I think, she has nice personality. Also, she likes fire type pokemon- like me. And looks fine.

But... yeah... you see my point clearly. Obviously if you like her personality in the show that's fine. I don't really... and I didn't think she was that great a Gym Leader (and please don't say she's getting stronger with Emerald as I hardly see how a Numel and a Camerupt can catapult you into the depths of strength). But... I'm strongly against people falling in love with cartoon characters... It seems unethical.. :/

Yeah - it's not as if she's the empress of the world to whom we should bow down to and worship for the rest of all eternity. All she is, is a Pokemon Gym Leader in a video game, cartoon series and comic book series. That's all. She's not Superwoman.

Its not LOVE. I think, a lot of people don`t understand this word. They call even the smallest crush - LOVE. Love is a a huge power, huge feeling, and you can feel that only to real person. Not to person from TV, cartoon or internet.
Boys have crush on Flannery because they would love to have a gf like she in real life. Its not sick. Its a almost this same thing, like crush on famous pop star or actor.
