Who will see Uxie?

    I watched the Galaxy Gang hour special again recently, so I've been thinking about who will see Uxie. Ash saw Azelf, the Being of Willpower, which is quite fitting for him. Dawn saw Mesprit, the Being of Emotion, which fits Dawn most out of all the characters, as she seems the most emotional on the show at the moment, having gone through a bit of a depression.

    So, who will see Uxie, the Being of Knowledge?

    • Brock. He's the most obvious choice as he is extremely knowledgeable on Pokemon as is able to explain tactis and moves to the other characters. This would mean that the whole group has seen one of the legendaries and would justify him being there when there is a big showdown with Team Galectic (hopefully). Although, I would be rather disappointed if it was him as there are much more interesting characters that could see Uxie.

    • Possibly Paul? He seems to use his Pokemon purely for battle purposes and is able to decide if a Pokemon is worthy of his use based on the attics it knows. He seems to know a lot, perhaps more than we have seen. He was reading a book in DP100 and we have no idea if he reads much or just how knowledgeable he is. If it was Paul who saw Uxie, and it appears that the people who have seen the the 3 legendaries have some sort of duty to help out when the Pokemon have been caught, it will be extremely interesting to see what happens if he has to work alongside Ash.
      - An interesting fact is that Lake Verity is called "Shinji Lake" in Japanese and Paul's Japanese name is "Shinji". However, this is where Mesprit lives and could just be a coincidence.

    • It could also be Jun. He does not seem to be knowledgeable in any way from what we have seen, but we have only seen him for 3 episodes. Although, he is a game character so the writers could decide that he see Uxie for that reason alone, and could be the reason why he was added in the anime, perhaps so late. Jun gained instant popularity from the first episode he was in so I doubt many would complain .

    • I've also thought that maybe there's the smallest chance Gary could be the one to see Uxie. We have know since Kanto he is knowledgeable and is now a Pokemon researcher, travelling randomly around Sinnoh, it seems, so we have no idea where he will appear. But I think it's unlikely.

    Perhaps there's someone else I haven't though of. It's presumably going to show up when they get to the lake near Snowpoint, as this is where May and Zoey said it has appeared, and is where you catch it in the games.

    (I can't remember if this part was explained in the games somehow)
    It's mentioned that Ash and Dawn probably saw Azelf's and Mespirit's souls rather than the actual Pokemon. But in the end, is there actually any significance in that fact that they have seen Azelf and Mesprit? Cyrus tried to see if Ash and Dawn could sense anything with the Lustrous Orb but nothing happened. Is this because nothing will actually happen or they needed the 3rd person? And perhaps the other 2 orbs? Perhaps there is no significance at all in the fact they have seen them and it doesn't matter who sees what legendary, just that they stop Team Galactic?

    So what does everyone else think?
     
    I think it'll be Takeshi. I know he's not brought up to be as important as Satoshi or Hikari, but I believe that he will be significant with Uxie. I just can't see him pushed out by Shinji and I just don't think that they'll give a rival that big of a part.
     
    I'll say Brock, too, since he does represent intellect, which is based on wisdom (which he has, and that's the symbol of Uxie). Plus, there is the pattern to note (Ash/Azelf, Dawn/Mesprit). So, we'll see.

    As for Paul, well, Gary saw Mewtwo before anyone else did. So, I won't rule anything out with him.

    Oh, I'm just saying how it can be possible for Shinji to see a Legendary, since people are playing him and Jun, and all that. I'm just pointing to Shigeru as a possible parallel, if people want to draw such a conclusion.

    Oh, I see. I guess you can make those parallels.
     
    I think I'll pick Gary out of that list. Seeing how Gary is the only one of the "intelligent" characters to actually show his intelligence consistently (Paul focuses more on Battling more than intelligence, as for Jun, we can't make a good determination. As for Brock, I feel that he really doesn't deserve the moniker of being the "Most intelligent" member of the group. I mean, he didn't figure out the riddles, he didn't know how to escape out of the St. Anne, among other things. Heck, he fell for many of TR's disguises and lies. All right, most of the other characters fell for it as well, but Brock's even more disturbing in regards to it because, well, if he was truly the smartest level headed member of the group, he would have identified Team Rocket from the get go.

    However, it may not be someone from that list. For all we know, Misty could have seen it, or May, even (It was implied in the Wallace Cup that May had seen Uxie, anyways. As for Misty, while she may not have been "level-headed", she was definitely the brains of the group, especially in Season 1.)
     

    I honestly think the most probably answer would be Brock. But it would kick ass if it was Gary. (Even if they still messed up his hair.)
     
    Ash and Dawn will both see Uxie? I don't know, my educated guesses are focused on science right now. The only similarities Brock and Uxie have are eyes that God-knows what the hell would happen if they are opened.

    I fear Brock's more, so I will go with Ash and Dawn at the same time.

    If it is Brock, I will really be disappointed. But it'll really stick out if he dosn't see it, I suppose. If it's not him, I'm betting on Jun. Although he may just be a rival, in the games he played a part in the Team Galectic storyline and may do in the anime. Although we know that what happens in the games does not necessarly mean it'll happen in the anime :/

    I'm wondering what the point in them seeing the legendaries is. Just to introduce them to the story? Or maybe that they're special in some way for seeing them?

    XD Unless Uxie and Brock open their eyes at the same time. Whoaa...

    Oh, and thanks to whoever gave me rep for this thread haha.
     
    My guess it might be brock...the group might bump into a wild snover or something, and Brock might take a liking to it, get lost in a Blizzard end up alone bu Lake Acuity with Snover, end up seeing Uxie who might somehow help them get back to Ash and Dawn (or not) and at the end Brock will catch a Snover maybe...LOL...what do u think?

    This seems very possible to me......
     
    If it goes in that pattern of the group seeing the different legendaries, then Brock would be next. Still, Paul seeing it does have a chance I guess. Ash or Dawn could see them again, who knows. Let's wait and see.
     
    Honestly, I'm sort of indifferent about who sees it. I guess I would say Brock since he's knowledgeable about things. I was thinking it could also be Ash and Dawn who see Uxie together. Whoever sees it is fine with me, I suppose. :P

    Thank you...lol...it is just my prediction, I wonder what others will think of it as well?...but it does seem very likely to happen u would think...
     
    I don't think anyone has to see it for the first time either, maybe all of them would be shown together.
     
    Although May could have seen it, if it follows the current pattern, Brock will see it, since the other 2 group members have spotted their Pokemon counterparts.
    Dawn = Full of Spirit, Mesprit
    Ash = Determination AKA Valor, Azelf
    Brock = Knowledge AKA Breeder, Uxie
