Who would win Todadile or Squirtile?

Since they are both water pokemon, are starters, and have some of the same moves I dont really know who would actually win, but my guess is that squirtle would.

I'm going for Todadile coz it look so solid,Squirtle can hardly damage it.If u don't believe use a normal Pokemon to use scratch on both of them,it'll be less damage on Todadile,whatsoever ! Anyway if I can choose I'll rather choose Squirtle coz I like it.

You are forgetting tackle's critical hit ratio, and what if you add in moves like tail whip.

Totodile. First of all, it's spelled Totodile, second of all, Totodile is cooler, and third of all, its Physical Attack is high, Squirtle's Defense is low, and Totodile has a lot of Physical attacks.​

Well. I checked Serebii and the Base Attack for Totodile is 65 while Squirtle's Base Defense is also 65 ~





Also I like Squirtle. It looks cute,

You are forgetting tackle's critical hit ratio, and what if you add in moves like tail whip.

As far as I know, Tackle doesn't have any spesific crit-rate apart from the usual. (6,25%?)
Apart from that, Totodile gets Leer, so it's not like he can't lower Squirtles defence too....

Based on stats, Totodile has higher base attack(65) than Squirtle and have a base defence of 64.. While Squirtle has lower (base)HP, base attack and only 1 more in defence, and scratch is a little stronger.. So I think Totodile would win..

Though, I voted Totodile, it was for the fact that it was the first real starter that I could choose.. (Pokémon Yellow was my first Poké game..)

I like Squirtle more because he's a turtle that squirts water.
