    two questions i have about pokemon in general. First of all, is there one 'Pokemon Master' or are there many? Is it like being the presedent (1 at a time) or more like wining a... i dont know, u get it. My next question is, Are the members of the Elite Four Masters? They are the "Elite". But mayB theres only 1 master, and that wouldnt be true. If there is a master, is it currently lance?

    I'll just assume that it all depends on one's opinions about it.
    Everyone are probably masters in their own way in mine (opinion)

    I think, maybe.. There is one Champion for each region. Lance is Kanto's, Steven is Hoenn's, and someone is Johto's. I guess the Elite Four of each region were just special Trainer's that were chosen for Trainer's to fight before getting to battle the Champion. @_@ I have no idea, lol.
     
    I don't think the members of the Elite 4 are Pokemon Masters... I think it's just the next status of Gym Leaders. Koga, for example, was a gym leader who may have been promoted to the next level. Not all gym leaders are promoted because not all of them have the talents the Elite are looking for. I dunno. *shrugs*

    I also agree with the fact that each region has its own "master". Since each region has its own league, and each league will have its own champion, it makes sense.
     
    Me Thinks that a Pokemon Master is forever who wins a years competition in a certain year and they are never ever forgotten ^^

    Kinda like winners of a spelling bee except harder

    I think there is only one pokemon master somewhere hidden in the show, And the person doesn't show himself!
     
    I'm not even sure about this @_@;; Lance's the champion, and veeeery cute, but I don't think he's the Pokemon Master O_o;;

    Well, when Ash goes on his journey he wants to be THE Pokemon Master...so I am guessing that there is only one. Then again...exactly how many to they mention in the series? *scratches head*
