Who's Getting the Giratina and The Sky Warrior DVD on the 1st day?

I probably won't get it on the first day, dont really buy movies much. I'll probably pick it up soon after though.

My friend who is buying himself a copy will also be buying me one too as a gift.

If it has extras, maybe. Otherwise no because I've got the Japanese version, heh.

Not really worth it. If it had jp. track and ANA's short film at least, well maybe.

I never buy Pokemon DVD's. They haven't had one worth my money in a long time, if ever. There's always Youtube, y'know?

As much as I can understand this, the problem is that this is hurting the fandom. If the DVD sales are too low because people can download/watch episodes or movies online, they may decide not to release Pokemon DVDs anymore. It happened with "Gargoyles" in the USA and it happened with Pokemon in Germany already. We didn't have a Pokemon movie DVD release since movie 7.
    And then?
What about people who don't have the possibility of downloading or watching the show/movies online and therefore depend on DVD releases? And what if for some reason episodes or movies are no longer aviable on the net one day?

That's why if I have the opportunity, I try to support shows/movies I really like by buying the DVDs, even if I could get a free download instead.

I watch it online first, if I like it, I'll buy it. The problem is, Pokemon really don't make that much an effort with their DVDs. They just slap about 12 episodes on one disc, no extras, no Japanese with subs when it's the norm to have them on anime DVDs (and most of them have only 4/5 episodes on each disc). At least the Japanese movie DVDs have extras. I don't want to support them if they're not going to make the effort, but it's just a double edged sword because if we don't buy them because we want more on the DVD, they'll just not release the DVDs. If we do keep buying them, they'll just keep releasing DVDs with nothing but the movie on. There's no way to win. :/

I do release the Pokemon DVDs are aimed at children, but even children's DVDs come with extras and other languages. Well, at least films do :/

The reason DVDs weren't released in Europe from the 7th is because of the DVD company that distributed them. The 10th movie is on DVD, I think.

And yet they aired it on TV, showing it's not worth buying, and effectively lost someone who may have bought it. :P

The WB and Miramax dvds at least had extras.

Make a first movie with widescreen, jp. raw version, and all extras, i`d definetely buy it.

Depends. How much does it cost? Likely not, however, cause I can see it on Youtube, despite the criticisms.
