Technically Eevee was a starter too... you just couldnt pick him.
 
Cyndaquil becuz hes so freaking cool and evolves into typhlosion
 
Charmander, followed closely by Torchic.
Owing mostly to their final evolutions: A red dragon and kung-fu chicken.
 
Cyndaquil! Just because I love Quilavas. So cool... and cute (yes, I think Quilavas are cute.) And Typhlosion was my first Lv.100 Pokemon, way back when in G/S/C.
 
My favorite would have to be Charmander, simply because it has always been the Pokemon that I have started with.
 
I love the Second gen but i have to go with Charmander stick with The classics Charmander is overall best

The order i reckon is Charmander, Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Torchic, Chimchar
 
I like Torchic the best, followed by Chikorita and Mudkip!

Torchic is one of the only starters who has a cool final evolution in my opinion. I felt awful when I had to evolve my Mudkip.. v_v
 
My favorite starter is Pikachu because it is the only one that is not part of the fire - water - grass triangle.

I totally agree. :D That's the reason I don't really mind evolving Cyndaquil too much, because it's still really cute even after it evolves. Then, when I have to evolve it into Typhlosion, I get into this big should-I-evolve-it-or-not? dilemma. I like Typhlosion all right, and it sure is a cool Pokemon, but in terms of cuteness, it doesn't really compare with Cyndaquil and Quilava.
 
My favourite starter is Totodile. Follow ups are; Piplup, Turtwig, Cyndaquil, Mudkip, Squirtle
