Whose Sick of Ash's New Voice?

    It started to appear in the Hoenn, his voice realy began to mature, which in this case, is annoying. It changed "My name is Ash" to *Lower Pitch* "Hi, my name is Ash! GLAD TO MEET YOU". In my opinion, his new voice chafed in seconds, his voice in the early series was A LOT better. Your opinions?
     
    I love Sarah Natochenny's Ash ["New" voice] much more than Veronica Taylor's Ash ["Old" voice]. It sounds so different that it's actually kind of sexy to be honest unlike Ash's high pitch girly voice that annoyed me to no end. I also think it fits his more mature attitude better than how Taylor's Ash would've sounded.
     
    Ash? Mature!? *pratfalls* xD I like the older voice. the new voice sounds like he's straining to hit puberty.
     
    I didn't find too many problems with it but I had trouble with May, they changed her voice halfway through Hoenn and I took forever to get used to it, then they changed it again when she was in Sinnoh.
     
    High Pitched Ash = Annoying
    Low Pitched Ash = Annoying

    xD Ash generally annoys me now =D

    I was never really fond of Ash's voice period. It is something I didn't want to hear when I had a headache, I'll be honest with you there.
     
    I don't particularly care either way. Neither voice is brilliant. If I find any television character's voice annoying, I put the television on mute and turn on subtitles...
     
    His Japanese voice is infinite better than his dub voices. xD
     
    No offense to any of her fans, but Sarah Natochenny is not a very good VA for male characters. I still don't see how people think this sounds "mature". It sounds forced, and my throat hurts just listening to it. I still think Craig Blair would've been a better choice. His voice is more different from Veronica Taylor's, but at least it might sound like a natural human voice. In my opinion, Sarah Natochenny is the worst of the current VAs.

    And no, I'm not only saying this because I got used to his old voice. Ash was definitely not Veronica Taylor's best work. :\
     
    I loved Veronica Taylor's Ash, but I've gotten used to Sarah's over time.. however, I agree with Kenji that it sounds forced. Better now then what it used to be, but still forced.. awkward, in a way. Veronica's was more natural, and she felt the character better then Sarah seems to.. Then again, Sarah is only 21, and hasn't been acting, or voice acting for too long.
     
    I kinda like his new voice. I didn't really like his Veronica Taylor voice, though. He sounded like a crackhead or something.

    Still, Rika Matsumoto, obviously, makes the best Satoshi. XD

    Personally, I think Wendee Lee would've been a better choice for the voice of Ash.​
     
    Beh? I never noticed it until very late into the Advance generation (and I do mean VERY late), but since then, it's one of the things that keeps me from watching the majority of the newer episodes.
     
    Ash's voice? Heck, I'm expecting Pikachu's voice to be played by James Earl Jones next at the rate this is going.

    His original voice was definitely the best.
     
    I remember hearing it when they changed it. Its one of the reasons I don't watch the show regularly anymore. I joked that it was because Ash was finally hitting puberty, but is definitely not better.
