Why all the rivalry?

They should give the option to change teams (but have to wait a long time if you wanted to change again) since some people picked teams but then talk to a lot of people on a different team and its not worth starting again at this point just to be on same team as your friends
 
Hey guys, just remember to make sure you check the forum before making a topic; sometimes they already exist and we don't need duplicates!

Anyway, I picked Mystic because all the Valors around here are really damn annoying about it. lol I've noticed that when you ask people what team they are, Mystic and Instinct are like "oh okay" when meeting each other, but when we meet Valors, we're like "oh........*snarl*" and Valor doesn't even need you to finish the sentence lol. It's like "oh i'm my--" "EWWWW BYE" lmao.

Also I think the way people pick teams might also be dependent on sports teams? Some people don't seem to care about what each team stands for and went with color. Seeing that Alabama is crimson and white and there are just so many valors where I live...I wonder if that's why. Haha. Can anyone in a place where dominant sports teams that have yellow and blue add to this perhaps? I'm curious.

I'm personally not big in the rivalry, though. I'm mystic and if you're not, that's cool, I could honestly care less. But you are a little cooler if you're also mystic.

I've never thought of it like that before. You say you're surrounded by Valor people? I'm absolutely drowning in Mystic. The big sports team around Indy are the Colts. Which, of course, sport blue and white as their colors. I mean, I know Mystic has the statistics of overall players on their side, but this could really explain the large disparity in my area. Scary.

in UK politics is heavily Red vs Blue (with Yellow hardly getting a look in), most the major cities have teams where one is Red and the other Blue (Manchester, Liverpool, London, Bristol)
Personally i am Valor but i do most my pokehunting with a Mystic member.
 
I basically chose Team Mystic because I like the bird and the color and I really don't have time for all the rivalry at all anyway. I am just out to have fun playing the game.
