I know this is a stupid question, but I was just wondering why.
Oh that makes sense, but still, there are some people who stay in one of those forums but they never get that many posts counted then =/Logically they should be counted, because if you post a post, that means you've posted a post and that means the count of your post count has risen. But there are too many people who would spam to get high post counts (it's much more likely now that you can aim for blogs) and some argue that posts that contain little thought shouldn't be counted too, and it's easy to post without thinking in the Clubs or Trivia sections.
Oh :o haven't really thought about itJack is right. In the Other Trivia section, there's so many game threads. You really don't have to post pertaining to any particular topic. Same thing with Romhacking. You could say "great hack, I love it, but your scripting could be better". It' not very hard to post 5000 of those...

True, thanks for explaining it to me guys :D
One: so what? Post count doesn't mean anything.
Two: that's a choice they make. If they wanted higher postcounts I'm sure they'd post somewhere posts count.
Three: refer to number one.
I'm not lol, I was just wondering and thanks for answering my question guys >.<the real reason is to help boost posting in the other, sometimes less fun but just as important, areas of the forum. Lots of people post 100's or 1000's of posts in the DCC or various 'game' threads in the offtopic areas but rarely post elsewhere.. the no post counts in theses sections help or motivate these members to spread around the post-love by encouraging them to also post in 'normal' topics to add to their post count, if that's important to them.
It's a trade off.. and seems to work well so don't expect any changes soon.
