'Why are you late?' 'The staircase moved. I had to come via the dungeons.'

I'm late 99% of the time due to me preferring to go to my classes once everyone has gone. I hate crowds of people.

We're given at least 5 minutes to get to classes
That reminds me of my school's bell system.
At the end of each lesson, there's a bell, as well as a second bell which rings 5 minutes after the first one. Students who arrive after the second bell are considered late.

I'm never late to class once I'm in the school. It only happens during first period when I've either overslept, taken my time, or got stuck behind the slowest driver on the universe. Not too much of a big deal though! Most teachers I've had mark you in as on time because they can't be bothered.

First of all, let me congratulate you on your epic Harry Potter reference. You are a cadillac among men.

Now that that's done with lol - I graduated nearly 3 years ago now but I can't remember one time when I was late for class. I was a nerd so the second the bell rang I bolted for the classroom and had my books out on my desk before the teacher got there. I still miss high school sometimes...

I'm rarely late since most of my classes gives students extra work if they're late, or they just give them a detention, and I'm not really fond of either.

I'm not exactly a model student in terms of attendance, even with a 7-minute passing time (across five floors and a second building). The teachers don't really care if I'm a few minutes late as long as I pass the class. Sadly, the only class I'm not late to is first period, where the teacher is usually tardy instead.

If I like the class (barely) I would come early but since I can't stand classes (even in college unless if the professor is a jerk) I will come late....I cant stand classes

I was either completely on time for class (98%) or, if I thought I was going to miss a substantial part of it, I just didn't go (2%). Lateness was not an option; punctuality is a blessing and a curse.
