Why Brock....

he has. he does not open them O.O
 
He opens them on rare occasions. Especially when Nurse Joy and Officer Jenny are around lol. He's been doing that quite a lot in Diamond and Pearl. But Croagunk always seems to stop him before he gets too carried away lol.
 
He has eyes, but they're so beautiful that a single careless gaze could take the lives of hundreds, maybe thousands of innocents.

He does have eyes, they are just naturally closed.

Search for one of the baby Larvitar episodes-he pulls his eyes open in an attempt to get it to laugh after its been upset.
 
Cawz he's blind at all teh hawt girls he been lookin' at.

Maybe he's like Chinese or Japanese...P:
 
As everyone has said, they are just usually closed. :)
Sometimes in the anime he does open them.

I figured that he was Hawaiian. It makes some sense, considering that Hawaii is kind of like the Japanese' "home away from home", and we all know that the Pokemon regions are supposed to represent Japan.

Because if he dares open his eyes, the light from the sun will shimmer off of them surely melt the Earth. Or the hearts of many women. Whichever comes first. =P​
 
Umm, this wont lead anywhere. It has nothing to do with his race. He just has them squinted most of the time an only opens them when he finds a girl really attractive and goes all GaGa.

He's made as a stereotypical Asian in a world of white anime characters (as anyone can notice, almost all anime characters are fair-skinned), for all I've cared to note. It's ironic that he is tall, then... maybe Sugimori just thought the normal Pokemon people eyes wouldn't suit him and his character.
 
He lost them in a freak landslide when he was little. Then he got saved by an Onix.
He pretends he can still see, but secretly he uses sound waves to see... Like Zubat.

I actually laughed at that picture.
Oh well, he's just slanted. It's easier for the artists to picture it that way.

You know, there is a pretty famous blind kid who uses echolocation...

And Brock's father is alive, silly. Right now he's at the Pewter Gym taking care of his 30+ kids.
