There were far too many times when people would disregard the rules of that forum when making threads, thus causing the need for their threads to be locked anyways. Moderating the threads so they can be seen before they're posted helps to cut down on the amount of such threads in that forum.

Also...if a thread doesn't show up after a while, then it might be best to actually PM one of the mods to ask about it. It usually doesn't take that long for one of the mods there to approve a thread, so if it never shows then something's probably wrong with it.

Since you are fairly new to the forum, you probably wouldn't know about the great amount's of SPAM threads it has been getting.

In the past, new members often post only one Pokemon to get its moveset rated. Strategies & Movesets is only for Rate My Team purposes, and a team would have to consist of six Pokemon, not one. We've gotten our fair share of those threads. Also, members would often post their in-game teams, such as "Torterra Lvl 43, Attack: 100, etc." and those are clearly not tolerated. We've also gotten threads like "What would be a good team for the E4"? Or they would make threads just to ask a simple question. New members often do not read the rules, and do not see the stickies. And you will not believe how many times that those things have happened. As of now, moderators have to approve threads that meet the S&M rules. Threads that do not follow the rules will be rejected.

Anyways, just follow the rules upon thread making and you'll be fine.

Edit: Cowrie and her "1 Minute Ago" posts. >:T
