Why does the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon endings have to be so sad?

I honestly don't know if it's me, but I did something I rarely ever do these days after I beat Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers Of Time: I cried.

I mean... I actually cried a little bit during the ending. I haven't done THAT in years. Seeing your character disappear while your partner pleads for you not go to must have did something to me. I mean, why does the ending have to be so sad?!!! Those types of endings should be outlawed!!

    But, that's just me.

i know my mom was watching a lifetime movie and i was playing pokemon time and crying and she looked at me and asked if i was watching the movie

OMG! I know! PMD1 was sad but PMD2 was even sadder! I cried both times I played PMD1 and the one time I played through PMD2. Although, it just shows what a great storyline is is for people to become so attached to those little pixels :(

What's worst is what happens to Grovyle...

Ya, why can't it just happen that you stay there and it's a happy ending.. Why the disappearing? I wonder..
