Why no Tour in Canada

    Ok for the longest time it's only been possible to get exclusive pokemon like Dexoyes if you went to a tour like Pokemon Rocks america.

    Well what about us Canadians? How the heck are we supposted to get these pokemon if Nintedo never holds any events near us?

    I got the ticket to get Lugia and Ho oh in Fire red, leaf green and emerald out of sheer luck since they where giving it out at Cn Expo 2005 in Toronto. However that was completely unadvertised so Many many people missed out.

    I was lucky that I was able to go back how and grab my gameboy advance and my other games since I only had my ds and Fire red on me and otherwise would not have been able to get the tickets.

    Now they are giving out Celibi for the 10th aniverasy. Well Canadian's want Celibi too!! (Plus Dexoyies which we completey missed out on!!)

    The question is when will Nintedo even realize we exist to give us equal treatment?

    Because canada sucks XD

    Nah im just kidding. It seems only two countries get these events and thats USA and Japan??? Why I dont know. Nintendo seemingly hates other countries or just doesnt care if you guys dont get Celebi or Doexys. It may be terrible but its the truth.

    I have no idea why no other countries besides Japan and USA get events. Maybe its because.

    A.pokemon was made in japan

    B. I dont know =D

    C. Nintendo just doesnt care

    Well, I believe Nintendo does have an HQ in Canada, so it's odd that they wouldn't have any tours or events or anything like that. o__o I mean how difficult would it be for the Journey Across America team to venture out to Canada? I mean the US is connected to it...XD

    Exactly. If they can stop at a few major US citys why not stop at a few major Canadian citys as well.

    You know like Vancover, Edminton and Toronto ect.

    Then they can call the tour Journy across north america or Pokemon Rocks North america or something and not exclude as many people.

    Well the key term is "journey across america"...So what would the be doing in canada? (I mean UUSA not north america as a whole).

    So what the heck would journy accross america be doing in Canada. It does suck you guys dont get Deoxys or Celebi. Although I dont even like them.

    Im happy with My houndours, larvitars, Grovyles and Meditites...

    And if it did do North AMerica as a whole it still wouldnt have to add the north american part. It would still be america. lol

    maybe because of funding and stuff,so they only focus primarily on the two bigger....eh,pokemon countries....maybe that?....

    Yes, I do see your point. But what I'm saying is Pokemon wasn't created in America, it was created in Japan. And if the Nintendo people can travel all across the United States, then why not make a few stops in Canada while they're up in northern US? It just seems like a logical idea to me. XD

    You could always try sending a letter to the Canadian Nintendo HQ complaining and stuff... :<

    ...what? They were handing out tickets at CNE last year? Yeah, a bit of advertisement might've been nice, there. *grumbles*

    Anyway, I can't help but complain about this too, but it's not Nintendo of America's fault. Their tours are organised by themselves alone, really. Nintendo of Canada, I think, is the one we have to complain to since they would be the ones setting up any events. Perhaps if enough people e-mail or write them, something might be done, but I wouldn't count on it. Canada probably doesn't have the sheer population required to support a full-blown tour, even if only to the larger cities, as the USA does, so there's less incentive for Nintendo to do something like that. T_T;

    As far as I know, Nintendo of America, and Pokemon USA are the ones that do those events... and they made not travel outside the USA.
    Granted Canada is RIGHT THERE! ...In my opinion, other countries SHOULD get Pokemon events, just like us.... ><;;

    -sigh-

    We've had events in the UK, but they aren't very well advertised so a lot of people do miss out (I got the Eon Ticket this way).

    Well, stop complaining people. My country doesn't even have any of those.. to those money-minded adults, they couldn't care less about Pokemon.. No events, no nothing. Not even a TCG tournament. ><;;

    So people, consider yourself lucky enough ya know.. sighs.

    I completely agree. Lots of things happen in USA that dont happen in Canada -_-
    British Columbia is almost event-less cartoon speaking, but we have many other events! =)
