What's up guys! Some old faces around here may remember me, if not no worries I'll fill you in.

I'm Muyi. I'm 18 years old and from London. I've been a member on PokeCommunity since around 2007 (this is a slightly newer account) and was a former Moderator of Pokemon General during the peak times of my activity.

Since around 2011, my activity dropped significantly due to me starting sixth form college here in the UK (leading to me stepping down from the position) and I really wanted to focus on getting as high grades as possible in order to get into the best university possible. It paid off - and I'm off to study Computer Science at University of Hull on the 28th of this month. It's a little scary as my university is around a 5 hour drive away from home and I'm moving out and living on my own for the first time.

My interests and maturity level has changed quite a lot from two years ago. I'm still a huge Pokemon fan (granted I know nothing about X & Y!) :O but I'm now big into technology and programming in particular. I'm still a huge nerd, and I always will be to be honest.

Anyways, I saw somebody from PC pop onto my Twitter feed today and decided to visit to see what's up. I saw this forum and liked the idea so decided to make a thread upon my return. Gosh, has things changed around here!

Oh, feel free to ask me anything that abides by the rules of this forum. I'm easygoing enough to answer what I deem is worthy. A few bullet points about me:
    • 18 years old
    • Male
    • African descent (I'm black)
    • In a relationship and very happy
    • Big into video games, programming and music
    • Been a Pokemon fan for around 10 years now
    • I really enjoy Pasta! <3

How would you feel if you found out someone was stalking your girlfriend? Are you the protective type?

What's it like being black in the UK? in London? in your university?

How did you come to enjoy Pasta? Must it be capitalized?

Also, where are you most often (so I can keep my eyes peeled for you X3)?

It's funny, I'm quite protective of my girlfriend because I like her a lot - however I'm not hugely jealous by any means what so ever. I trust her enough to be able to go anywhere she likes on her own and the feeling on her end is mutual. It makes things a lot easier and less stressful for both parties involved. I just don't like when other guys look at her in a particular way (but who does, right?!)

Well I'm certainly not the typical black guy you meet in London. I've never been really one to play to a specific stereotype - I'm just me, haha. That being said, you notice a small majority of people who treat you differently because of the colour of your skin which doesn't bother me one bit anymore. One of the best part about people who underestimate me due to my skin colour is the look on their face when I prove outright that I'm not a low-life by any means, and I'm actually going places in life.

As for university, I... Have no idea! I start in 23 days so I guess I'll come back and answer the question!

I think the reason I love it so much is that I never get bored of it and, if you know me, you know that I get bored of a certain type of food far too quickly and for pasta to be exempt from that - well, it's a miracle frankly! And the capitilisation was a test and you passed! Well done! ;)

I'm probably going to be sticking around the Tech and Video Games forum. Hope to see you around there!
