4th Gen Why Slowbro? Why?

I just conducted a mutual trade with someone to get both of our pokemon to evolve. I evolved a poliwhirl, magmar, porygon, and a electabuzz, but for some reason my slowbro was traded twice while carrying a king's rock I am just wondering if anyone knows why it happened im baffled.
