now, i'm sure that this is the correct area, ok, so i was recieving some difficulties with my Wi-Fi USB adaptor, so i un-installed it, but when i was re-installing it, i forgot that i threw away my instruction Book, so i forgot what to do, so it's nearly completed, but then it gets onto "Connecting to Internet Sharing" or somthing like that, and it stays there, now it was like this for 10 minutes, have i done somthing wrong?

OK, I still have my instructions booklet, so I'll try and take you through this, quoting from the book. I think it would be a good idea if you just started over, following the instructions.

    System requirements:

    Operating system: Windows XP
Processor: Intel Pentinium (or compatible) 800MHz or faster
    Memory: 256MB or more
Available hard disk space: 10MB or more

You will also need an active broadband internet account.
Make sure you have all these requirements before moving on.

    Installation Instructions:

-Start up your PC and load the enclosed Driver Disc into the PC's disc drive (you must NOT put in the USB until you have inserted the CD)
-Follow the on-screen instructions and plug the Nintendo wi-fi USB Connector into the USB port when directed to.
-The drivers will automatically be installed after the Nintendo wi-fi USB Connector is plugged into the PC
-When driver installation is complete, the utility software will be installed. After the utility software has been installed, click OK and complete the installation.
-After installing the USB Connector on you PC, you will need to use the Nintendo wi-fi USB Connector Registration Tool to allow your Nintendo DS to communicate with the USB Connector.

IMPORTANT: To unplug the USB Connector from your PC, be sure to click on the removal icon at the bottom of the screen in the task tray. Select the option to safely remove the device before unplugging the USB Connector.

    Wireless Communication Guidelines:

-Keep the maximum distance between Nintendo DS systems and the USB Connector at 10 meters or less.
-The Nintendo DS systems should face the USB Connector as directly as possible.
-Avoid having people or other obstructions between the DS and the USB Connector.
-Avoid interference from other devices (Wireless LAN, microwave ovens, cordless devices, other computers)

    Troubleshooting:

Your Nintendo DS must be configured to communicate with this Nintendo wi-fi USB Connector.
Follow the instructions to do this:

-From the Game Menu Options screen, select the choice for Nintendo WFC game play modes.
-From the Nintendo WFC Menu, select the choice for Nintendo WFC Settings or Setup.
-On the Nintendo WFC Setup Screen, tap the CONNECT TO YOU NINTENDO WI-FI USB CONNECTOR Panel.
If you have installed the USB Connector on your PC already, select OK to proceed.
-You will be prompted to use the Nintendo Wi-Fi Registration Tool on your PC to grant you Nintendo DS system permission to access the USB Connector. Click on the registration tool icon in the task bar at the bottom of your PC screen to start the registration tool.
-Click on the Nintendo DS username and select from the menu to allow or deny access.
-After granting permission, the Nintendo DS will ask to run a connection test. Select OK to begin the test.
-If the connection tests OK, you will be given a CONNECTION SUCCESSFUL message.

In some cases, if you Nintendo wi-fi Connection is configured correctly but you are unable to make a connection, the authentication server may be busy or unavailable. Try connecting again later.

If your connection test mentioned above is not OK:

-Make sure you are maintaining a strong signal when trying to make a connection
-Make sure your internet connection is working properly
-Make sure your wireless access point is working properly

I hope this helps. I know it all sounds like a load of waffle, but go through it slowly and carefully: try not to ignore or assume anything, I know it can be tempting!
