Wi-Fi?

    I understand a lot of people like to use battle simulators, but I have searched the forums and haven't found one result on Wi-Fi battling o.O I checked the Battle Center, and while the guidelines mention you can post videos, I just assume that means videos from battle simulators since that's all I'm finding.

    Is there a section in the forums where I can post the numbers of battle videos? I have Pokemon Black 2 and given all the distractions I have in life I want to avoid battle simulators.
     
    What I want to start doing is post the numbers given when you upload a video from your Black/White game and make comments about them. I needed to ask since only those with Wi-Fi access would be able to view them.
     
    Judging by the first post of this thread, sharing videos of battles is fine to do there too. (As you said, it mentions videos - I do doubt anyone is going to be against wifi battle videos). I suppose sims are just the more popular form of late because it hasn't been shut down and doesn't require setting up teams in-game and all.

    Thanks. Maybe it's just a matter of popularity. I suppose I can't let that stop me from sharing my battles.

    Now comes another question: Could I also challenge anyone to a wi-fi battle openly by thread, or would it have to be done privately? (PM, VM, etc)
     
    We're not allowed to have personal battle threads so you'd have to do it by VM/PM/Quick Battle thread. The main reason why there aren't any battle videos on that thread is because we're lazy, we haven't had post-worthy videos lately, or whatnot. And, uh, no offense to the sim people, but probably 80% of the wifi people are active in trade corner chat (not in BC) because I'm the one who goads them into battling with loot. And that's also why you don't see much wifi chat... because we do it over there. :B

    Finally, randomly VMing/PMing people for battle is a good way to get ignored so I really don't suggest that.

    But yeah, look more carefully in Battle Center and check the threads that are tagged with [Event]. There's three currently active; Keno League, Pokecommunity League, and the Road to VGC (well, it's /alive/ but not really active, I suppose. Not many people care about learning doubles, meh).

    I was JUST about to start a thread on battle videos, good thing I saw this last minute. In that case I'll march to the Quick Battle thread and post my video there (or just check it out). Thanks.
