So I have made up a team of Sunflora, Entei, Feraligatr and Noctowl, covering up grass, fire, water and a fly pokemon (wich my team always has)

Now I'm wondering wich 2 pokemon to add to this team. I have chosen 3 but can't decide! Choose between Lugia, Espeon and Tyranitar.

I'm not the guy that is interested in things like AV and EV, natures and such, I am just playing the game for fun!

I feel the same way, about the EV and all that kind of stuff. I personally think that you should add an Espeon and Tyranitar. I have an Espeon and she's da bomb! XD And I've never had a rock/dark Pokemon on my team (are there even any others besides Tyranitar?), but it'd probably be really cool. =) And about Lugia, I don't think you should use him/her (I think it's kinda disturbing how they don't have genders...) because you already have a flying type on your team. And! If you have Espeon, then you'll have flying and psychic covered, and since you don't seem like you want to keep choosing more Pokemon for your team, that's good. So, that's pretty much what I think.

P.S. And you can't get Lugia until a little further into the game. Unless you trade. But I think you know what I mean. XD

You also need an electric type. Ampharos or Raikou would be your best bet. And I suggest Espeon. You can teach Feraligatr Earthquake to take care of any Electric types you run into.

BTW, Entei isn't as good as it appears. It's got high ATK stats, but no decent Physical (contact) moves to make up for it. Arcanine or Ninetails are better because their Sp. ATK is higher and both are easier to catch.

I believe you're using SS, so you'll have to trade a Growlithe from HG to get Arcanine.

My policy is that I only use pokemon from the generarion of the game, so Only Johto pokemon ;) Besides, catching Entei is a breeze! Never had any trouble with it

Also, moves like whirlpool and rock smash, are they needed for the storyline? Because I always distribute the HMs among my team, so that I dont get stuck you know?

And those 2 moves seem kinda useless to me..

For HM moves like Whirlpool and Rock smash, use HM slaves. For example, you can catch a Goldeen and teach it Whirpool, Surf, and Waterfall and only use it for out-of-battle purposes.

Using HM slaves also frees up space for better moves on your main team. Just switch 1 or 2 members of your main team with the HM slaves you need.
