2nd Gen Wierd Egg (IT'S NOT A BAD EGG!!!)

    I breed my Eevee (Female) and my Sentret (Male) and got an egg from them- which is what I wanted. I had three badges, and so I walked up and down Goldenrod (from the building at the top leading to the route all the way down to the bottom edge and went slightly into the route at least 100 times (not a exageration! I really did!!!) and then continued on. Well, now I'm going for badge 5 (already got 6 from Jasmine) and all I have to do is beat Chuck (God I hate that Poliwrath!) and it /STILL/ hasn't hatched. It says "Wonder what's inside? It needs more time, though."

    The attachment is simply the eggs stat.


    So what is up with it? It's really annoying. I /need/ to get a Jolteon for this gym, and that's what this egg is going to become eventually if it /ever/ hatches.
     
    I have no idea what's wrong with your egg, but do you really want to raise a Jolteon from such a low level? There are Magnemite in the route north of Olivine.
     
    What game is this on? Silver, Gold, or Crystal?

    It may be a glitched egg or something. If it hatches, let us know o: lol
     
    In the GBA and DS games, Eevee eggs take a really long time to hatch (somewhere around 9000 steps). Although I'm not 100% sure about the GB games, I'm pretty sure the same applies. Just keep biking around aimlessly and it should hatch eventually. If it doesn't... then I don't know.

    Dirtyavenger- I'm crazy, yes, but I do want a Jolteon. I might catch a Magneton and use it for the gym and ditch it.

    And I've walked around aimlessly for ages. I've never had an Eevee egg take so long to hatch, and I generally breed Eevees and nothing else... *goes back to wandering up and down places a few billion times*



    Edit- I"M GETTING SOMEWHERE!!!! "It moves around inside sometimes. It must be close to hatching"

    Now we'll see if this million step or so egg is glitched or not.... *continues walking*

    OH FINALLY IT HATCHES. It seems to be a normal Eevee... But I went through almost half the game before it hatched. Odd, but whatever. Now that I've wasted your time (and sorry about that... ^^' ) I'll go raise my Eevee up...

    That's legit, I like 'eons too.
    Catching a Magneton and then ditching it would also work.
    And just to clarify, it takes 9180 Steps to hatch an Eevee, so you may have work cut out for you.

    Also, do you have a Psychic on your team right now?

    Edit: My bad, didn't read that it had hatched.
