4th Gen Wifi Battling problem

I've recently been able to connect to Wifi, and I was able to trade in the union room right away. However when a friend and I tried to battle in the collesium room, it would not allow us saying there was an error of 86420 I think it was. How am i able to trade, but not battle?

No, in the collesium it just says "unable to connect error code 86420 (which has something to do with a firewall or something) However, since I am able to trade i dont understand what would be different about it. (I'm using the wifi at a University so it might have something to do with it) :/

mmmm that seems a bit strange you were able to trade but not battle....... -.- battleing is fun.

You'll have to check the game manuel/nintendo website is all, I'd dvise - it's your best bet. If the error mentioned firewall then check that your computer's/internet firewall allows your ds to use it, as that may be why it isn't working (mayb it just decided to deny it then?) That or the signal was weak.
