I'm not new to Pokemon but I have a few questions regarding wild and trained pokemon.

    Example
Today I received a lv 30 meditite from a trade
it was caught at lv 28 and trained 2 levels before I received it.
Occurrding to IV calculators; for a wild Pokemon it has a IV maxed speed stat.

I understand the fact that a trained Pokemon's stats are superior to a wild ones but i have a few other questions.
-When is a Pokemon considered "trained"
-Will this meditite ever have stats equivalent to that of a trained from level 1-100 trained Pokemon
    - Does a trade affect its stats or make it less of a trained Pokemon

No, I don't think a trade will effect it's stats. The only thing that is different from a normal Pokemon would be how it "gains a boosted" number of exp. points.

And it depends on how you train your Pokemon. If you want it's speed stat to be maxed out, then I'd suggest fighting low-level Starly's. (If your on LG/FR, try Pidgey's. If your on RSE, try Zigzagoon's.) You'll gain 1 speed EV for each one you defeat, but you won't gain a lot of exp. points, so you'll certainly be able to max out your speed stat before level 100.

So, in conclusion, the higher level Pokemon you have, the harder it will be to max out it's stats before it reaches level 100. 30 shouldn't be too bad, though.

    Thanks for the help.

It was sort of a confusing aspect for me.
