[Other Question] Wild Battle BGM Stopped Looping Randomly

I ran into a very frustrating issue recently.

I had all my BGM's looping perfectly and I was ready for my Demo Release.

Suddenly the wild battle bgm stopped looping and returned to just fading out and starting again.

Every other bgm continues to loop properly: "Trainer Battle" "Team member battler" "All overworld BGMs" "Introduction BGMs"

Only the wild battle stopped looping.

I tried editing it again in Audacity, with no luck.

I tried downloading a clean file and starting over....no luck.

Tried starting a new game, no luck.

I can't for the life of me get the wild battle bgm to loop any more.

I even tried making it a different song and different name.

Theres no duplicate BGM with the same name.

What could be causing this issue?

Attached is how I set up the metadata for the .ogg file. Which is nearly identical to the rest of the working ones with the only difference being the samples from where the loop begins and ends.

    I'm completely stumped.

Are you sure you don't have any other BGM assigned for the wild battle in your metadata.txt? Also do you have any other track in your BGM folder with the same name but a different extension? Also could you move the LOOPSTART above LOOPLENGTH and save the track and retry this?

    thank you for the response.

but yes im positive that there are no others.

Also the set up you are talking about is how I did it in the first place. When I save the file it gets reorganized like this. I always add LOOPSTART above LOOPLENGTH at the end of the metadata and it always ends up rearranged like this. Its very strange that it doesnt work though, because it is only for the wild BGM. Nothing else is broken.

A little more on that, The issue seems to have started after I went to edit the loop to make it sound nicer. Ever since I made the changes the loop doesn't work. Even when I start from scratch with a fresh file, even when I use a completely different song. Anything set as the Wild BGM no longer loops.

Also I tried completely clearing the metadata and just adding the LOOPSTART and LOOPLENGTH at the end as normal. Which still solved nothing.

I assumed it was because of the update to Audacity so downloaded the previous version I was using. Also with no success.

Ok so I hit a point where the LOOPSTART. Is being acknowledged. But what's happening now is the song is ending as normal, hitting the fade out point then jumping to the LOOPSTART. There seem to be an issue with recognizing where the LOOPLENGTH is. I have no idea why. I thought a good work around would be to cut the end of the song right as the loop was set to start. But istead this just breaks it and it starts from the beggining. Im completely lost as to what to do.

Does the length of the loop have to be a certain size? I've noticed the loop works when I make it a greater length. But unfortunately for this song, making it a greater length just makes it sound bad. So if that's the case I may be in trouble

Update: Length isnt the issue. I extended the song to 7 minutes and made a huge loop. It still fades out. I'm completely out of ideas.

Also, I downloaded a fresh copy of essentials and copied over my data, then repleaced the audio files separately. But whatever is causing this bug got carried over with the rest of my data. I really don't want to ahve to start over for something as ridiculous as a failed audio loop. I double checked in the metadata of the map that there wasn't multiple entries either. and theres not...........

Update: I tried completely deleting all the metadata from the PBS of all my maps and redoing them in Debug mode. Still no success. And again, it is only the wild battle BGM, no matter what song I use or name I make it, anything that is set as wild BGM will not loop, every other BGM loops as it should.

Im pretty postive that the issue has something to do with LOOPLENGTH getting ignored by the program for some reason. That seems to be the only common factor in this whole dilemma. The song plays all the way through then jumps to LOOPSTART. So I know it is detecting that point but not LOOPLENGTH. What could be the reason for that. And again this is only happening on any song I set to Wild BGM. No other BGM has this issue.
