6th Gen Will ORAS feature a 3D overworld?

So, I'm not sure if this has been discussed already, but do you think ORAS will feature a full 3D overworld, unlike X and Y? I'd love it if it did, but personally, I don't see it happening. Would you prefer the game to make use of the 3D capabilities, or don't you mind either way?

They already said that it won't be full 3D. Just the battles and maybe some locations like in XY.

I hope they fixed the frame rate issue with 3D in battles. I like playing games with 3D on, but Pokemon XY screwed up badly even with the little 3D it had.

I wish they would use it. I get annoyed when companies make games for a system with a special capability and then don't do something with the capability. Just as annoying as DS games that didn't make good use of the touchscreen.

This. The lag was unbearable, especially immediately after selecting moves in battle.

It is confirmed that the graphics will be primarily in 2D, with some areas and moments available in 3D, I'm afraid. So on that note, there's not much to speculate so I'll have to close this one!
