4th Gen Will Shinies in R/S/E/FR/LG retain their colors when transferred to new era?

I was just wondering about that. I would think that they would, but I was just a tad concerned, since when on Colosseum they can look nothing like their handheld counterparts (such as my Ninetails being pink/red? So much for being a terrying "Ghost" as I named it).
Also, there's minor differences sometimes between FR/LG and R/S/E, such as Ratatta's eyes being blue, etc., but like I said, they're minor.

I'm worried a little about this, because color-specific names may need changing, or shinies that used to be cool might not be in the new games.
What do you think? I'm 70% convinced they'll stay the same, but we haven't seen ANY of the old Pokemon's new sprites, and even beyond that, the Shiny versions. So you can never be sure.

based on the 3-D-ish sprites, yes the shinies, even with essentially the same colors, will change (more or less).

the extra shading in DP might mess up some pokemon.

I think it would be a bad move if they did un-shiny shiny pokemon from other games! Because you wouldn't trade them over then, they would just be left on the 3rd gen games. But i would imagen that they owuld keep them shiny!

Well, if I had ever caught a shiny pokemon (aside from Red Gyrados -.-) I might be more concerned about it, but I don't think that they'll change. The colors might be a little different simply because it's a slightly different spriting style and a different game, but I see no reason why they would alter colors so much.

I didn't even know that that happened in Colosseum... weird. o.O

i didn't say they based it on 3-D, i said that DP is going to put more shading into the sprites, just to look slightly more 3-D-ish.
haven't you noticed that weavile sprite that's twisting?
and let's see... munchlax, perappu, and weavile. and buizeru

i think it's unlikely they'll change the colors of the pokemon they know people like. but they WILL add shading.

I really don't care about the shinies. Thats not what the game is about
