1st Gen Will the mew glitch wreck my game?

    Ive found out about the mew glitch and after completing red the only way i can get mew through my run through of blue is by using the glitch. My only question is will using this glitch and capturing mew effect my game? Will it mess anything up? Thinking mainly about trades and actual gameplay. But does it screw anything up?
     
    It could screw up your save a bit I think. But I've seen many people doing this and nothing happened to them, so you should try.
     
    I think it messes up your Hall of Fame, but the MissingNo. glitch does that too. Maybe I'm thinking of the wrong thing. If you do it right though, nothing should happen. I did it just fine and my Red still works and isn't glitched like crazy or anything. Either way, please use the Q&A thread stickied at the top of the forum next time.
