I posted a tread in the progressing hacks thread yesterday and i was wondering if the mods notify you if it gets approved or not and if it doesn't get approved do they say what needs to be fixed?

They will not notify you. Your hack will be approved within a 24-hour period. If it wasn't accepted then you slipped up somewhere on your thread. When making your thread just make sure you have everything and you'll be fine. Though you can ask a moderator what was wrong with your thread but they mostly prefer you not to ask when the rules are listed.

If your thread isn't approved after a 24-hour period or so, ask a mod why. As long as you don't continually bother them about it (ie. don't go "WHY WAS MY THREAD NOT APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!111111111111 WHY DON'T YOU RESPOND?!!!!"), they won't get ticked off and they'll explain. They're human, after all, so they can't be online all the time, or they can be lazy and not answer for a little while because they're busy or something. Don't repeatedly ask them and they'll (usually) explain.
