Will there be a sub story?

Like the Orange islands or Battle Frontier do people think there will be a sub story before a change in clothes and new pokemon?
Also if this does happens he normaly catches at least 1 rare pokemon

He court Snorlax and lapras both quite rare
and aipom is a rare pokemon

I'll give you Snorlax. He was just using Lapras, he never actually owned. Ya know, just like Larvitar and Vulpix. Aipom isn't that rare, just not common like Pikachu.
