This is in a beta stage, I suggest installing on a system on a Virtual Machine Software such as Virtual PC! It might do some damage due to bugs or backup music and video files.

1. New Interface for Ease of Use
2. Music and Video shop to buy and download music online
3. Auto Sync for supported devices
4. Improved Video and Audio Support

This is currently compatable only on Windows XP, support for others later. ^_^

all the buttons are lined up at the top, a little sound bar thing at the bottom...i never really payed to much enuf attention 2 the updates XD

Where did you find that download??? I searched Microsoft's website and couldn't find any thing about Windows Media Player 10

It's a technical beta, though. ^_^ The media player is pretty nice. ^_^

Windows Media Player has sucked since version 7 though.
So I see no reason to get 10.
I'll stick with Media Player Classic.
