Windows XP is better, I think. I tried Windows Vista and it annoys me. They changed a lot of things in it and it's getting confusing, for me, sadly. =\

I never even tried to use Vista but I heard that its annoying though. I use Windows XP

Quite literally speaking, it can't actually do that.

And Vista itself isn't buggy enough to warrant a need for a service pack if you frequently use Automatic Updates. It's not like any service packs will add features (they roll out every patch released, and improve on stability) that are super-important to the end user.

Yes, it can. That is what SP1 is about, to increase performance AND to fix bugs, and Automatic Updates does not to ANYTHING for the stability of the system. I know, been there, done that.

I run Windows Vista Ultimate and as far I havn't seen any problems, at least not all the problems that I have heard Vista was supposed to have.

I reccomend Windows XP, and wait till another version of vista, even if vista is debugged, it can get annoying, confusing, and slow. i'd wait untill a second or even third service pack, plus the authorization window can get annoying.
